Your bathroom exhaust fan vent hose is attached to the housing of the fan at the top of the unit and to the vent exhaust gate located on the exterior of your home (or in the case of a commercial building it ties into a common vent system)
Since every house is diffrent i would get the plans for the house and locate where the vent should be based on the plans. Never go into a job not knowing what your going to encounter.
