Depending on the container it is stored in, unpopped popcorn usually last for a year to two or so. Read the packages in tips on preserving them, and you another way to keep them fresh so you can pop them later is to freeze them. Refrigerate the foods that you have opened.
Actually, it is not recommended to store popcorn kernals in the refrigerator but rather in the freezer or in an airtight container in a cool dry place. The refrigerator dries them out and causes the kernals to lose moisture and can prevent them from popping. add a comment
