How long does jet lag last?

It depends on the individual. Age, physical condition, mental wellness, diet and frequency of travel all contribute to the manner in which jet lag affects a body. Some people beleive that the return trip undoes jet lag from the first leg of the journey, but this is not the case.

It depends highly on two variables: The individual person and which direction your are going. If you are going East to West, then your jet lag is going to last around 1 day for every time zone you travel through. West to east, One day per zone and a half.

Jet lag happens when there's a disruption in the body when you are moving from time zone to time zone. Everyone's body is different so it could take anywhere from a few days it could take longer. But normally it takes me like two or three days to regroup. I hope this helps

There actually is a formula to determone this. 1 Day per eastward time zone you cross and 1 day per 1 1/2 westward timezones you cross. Of course everbody is diffrent but this should give you a pretty good estimate. The reason you get jet lag is because your bodies biological clock is thrown off by the time changes.

I only sleep four hours each night since back from spain to florida three days ago, it is strange I go to bed kind of early but sleep only about four hours and wake up each night cannot go back to sleep is that a symtom of jet lag
