In a refrigerator, you can thaw a ham in roughly 1-3 days, or between 5-7 hours per pound. Since you want to cook your ham on Thanksgiving, the 26th, you will probably want to take it out of the freezer between the 22nd and 24th. Defrosting a ham at room temperature can be hazardous, and is not recommended by USDA.
