In a refrigerator, you can thaw a ham in roughly 1-3 days, or between 5-7 hours per pound. Since you want to cook your ham on Thanksgiving, the 26th, you will probably want to take it out of the freezer between the 22nd and 24th. Defrosting a ham at room temperature can be hazardous, and is not recommended by USDA.

A spiral ham should be thawed in the refrigerator for about three days. Thawing in the refrigerator prevents the growth of bacteria.

On average it takes 5-7 hours per pound to thaw. Place the ham in the refrigerator three days before you plan on cooking it. If for whatever reason it is not thaw immerse in a sink full of cool water until completely thawed.

That depends on how big the ham is. If it's under 8 lbs then about four hours. Bigger takes longer.
