Some women get pregnant right away and some it takes years. You may want to buy an ovulation kit to make sure you're ovulating. Read the package directions. The rule of thumb used to be for women under 35 years old, if you can't get pregnant in a year, see a fertility doctor. Older women should only wait six months.

The length of time it can take someone to get pregnant varies from person to person. Some people get pregnant on the first try while others have to try for months. If you're not pregnant after a year, then there could be something wrong so you should see a doctor.

The average is 3-12 months for those under 30 years of age. If you are over 30 years of age, it takes 9-18 months to get pregnant. Times vary per individual and depend on your health. If it takes more than a year to get pregnant, talk to a doctor about potential infertility problems.

Sometimes it can be difficult for some women to get pregnant the first time. You can buy a kit to see exactly when you are ovulating and that will help. You can also talk to your doctor as there might be an underlying issue with your health but just remember sometimes it takes a couple a while to get pregnant.
