Feline distemper takes about a week to run its course if treated properly. Antibiotics will be prescribed to the feline, but she/he will also lose the will to live so giving extra love and attention will help. Keeping her hydrated (w/an IV) and feeding her by hand will help also.

It takes a minimum of two weeks for feline distemper to run its course, with the animal experiencing a number of symptoms, such as sneezing, high fever, lethargy, and often death of the feline.

I just rescued a kitten who we just had to put down...this is the best symptoms I have come across because sneezing is the first signs that most people including me do not know. She sneezed horribly when first home for a couple weeks before fatally ill.  add a comment

A cat will usually start to show symptoms 10 days after exposure. Then the disease will run its course in about seven days. However, depending on the age and health of the cat, the illness will be fatal within as little as 24 hours, and the mortality rate ranges by age from 20% to over 90%.

It usually takes at least a week for it to go away. With medication, improvement should be seen in just a matter of a few days.

Feline distemper has an incubation of about four or five days. After that, as the disease sets in, the symptoms will last another four to seven days. If your cat can survive a week, it will usually live. But full recovery takes a few weeks.

Usually a few days to a week. Feline distemper is a very serious disease and can easily kill a cat or kitten. You need to provide a lot of supportive care to help your cat survive.

It depends. You have to be providing supportive care nonstop for a cat with distemper, including administering antibiotics, injecting fluids, force feeding, etc. The cat might start perking up in a few days, or it might take a week or two. But without intensive supportive care, a cat has almost chance of surviving.

Feline distemper is also known as Panleukopenia ans is comparable to parvo in dogs. There is no cure for distemper and it usually takes about a week for it to run its course.
