It depends on the way your keeping them, locked up rabbits live shorter lives then say free running ones. Raise them with well, 8-12 years.

Rabbits that are kept as pets have a better chance as a longer lifespan. They can live up to ten years but possiably more if taken care of with vet help.

I am not sure how long they live for, but I think that they live for about 5 to 9 years. I had a rabbit growing up when I was very little. don't remember what age I was though.

Smaller breeds of rabbits normally live longer than the larger breeds. Smaller ones also normally have fewer health problems. If the rabbit is kept inside they will normally live shorter then those that live outside. But on average rabbits normally live between 8 and 14 years.
