If you have a written lease, check that. The lease may contain a provision allowing for cancellation in the event of house sale. If you do not have a written lease then you are most likely a month to month renter and 30 days notice is all that is typically required. Contact your local tenant or consumer protection agency.

Typically your landlord would provide a 30 day notice if they decide to have you vacate the home. With this notice she has provided you ample time to move and is within the law.
