Question by  Brita (15)

How long can meat last in the refrigerator?

Assume it's uncooked.

Answer by  SGividen (652)

Most uncooked meats can stay fresh when refrigerated for up to one week. This is of course, if the meat is well wrapped and guarded. Uncooked meats have a longer shelf life in the freezer. It is important to follow proper health handling guidelines, regardless of how long the meat has been refrigerated.

I believe uncooked meat can last more than 25 days if it is kept in the freezer compartment of the refrigerator.
