Your menstrual cycles may begin as soon as 8 weeks postpartum, if you are not able to breastfeed. Breastfeeding can cause lactational amenorrhea (lack of menstrual bleeding due to breastfeeding) for as long as you continue breastfeeding, although some women will start their menstrual cycle soon after giving birth regardless.

If you are breastfeeding, it can take several months. However, you can still get pregnant. If you are bottlefeeding, you can expect a menstrual about 28 days after giving birth.

That depends on a lot of things, and varies greatly from person to person. If you are exclusively breastfeeding on demand, you can usually expect to be free from periods for at least 6 months.

This can very. If you are breast feeding it could be longer anywhere from 2 months to 1yr. Lack of having a period does not mean you are not ovulating.
