You could start to ovulate anytime after an abortion just like a normal pregnancy after giving birth. Be sure to use protection even if you are still bleeding. Oral contraceptives can take a month to worked fully.

You should expect to start ovulating as soon as you stop bleeding from the abortion and do things to protect yourself from future pregnancies so that you will not have to endure having to makc such a hard decision again. Every female's body is different and is going to respond different to abortions.

As early as 2 weeks time depending on your cycle. You may or may not have a period first. It may take a couple of months to return to normal.
