How has Christianity, a faith based on the teachings of a single text, the bible, dicided int so many denominations?

I do not understand why there are so many detonations.

Christians are forgiven sinners. They go to heaven because Jesus Christ paid their sin debt. But as Paul says, Christians have two parts: carnal and spiritual. The spiritual man gets into fights over large things (are people allowed to read the Bible in English? ) and the carnal over petty things (on which side of the sanctuary should the piano be? ).

The Bible may be understood different ways, particularly since it is a collection of texts of different types of writing. Additionally, throughout the centuries there have been differing understandings of doctrine and differing approaches to prayer and worship, or piety. I think of it as being similar to different people pronouncing the same words with different accents.

There are a number of reasons that different denominations have been created over the centuries. The first split happened when Protestants rejected the corrupt practices of the Catholic church at that time. Other branchings occur because everyone interprets the words of the Bible differently.

I think it has to do with how people intemperate the bible. It is hard to know exactly what is meant by the bible since it was written so many years ago. Language wasn't the same back then as it is now. It seems odd to think that, but it is so true.
