How hard is it to use home brewing kits?

We went to a class held by Great Lakes Brewing. Many of the audience made there own brew. They all said that if you follow the instruction on the kits everything as stated. Some have done experiments with different flavors and all seemed to enjoy what they did. However it was not a favorite of their wives.

It is simple to brew your own beer from kits, especially the kind that provide a canned malt concentrate to start from. You have to be scrupulously clean about the equipment, then have the patience to wait for the beer to brew, but if you follow the instructions it is hard to go wrong, and you get VERY STRONG beer!
