You must have knowledge of math and reading of a high school level. It is not harder than any other states GED. If you dropped out of high school you may require GED classes in order to prepare for it.
To get a GED in New York City is not any harder than other cities. More studying may be required. Their are web links that may be helpful in getting your GED.
