How effective is night vision in Cadillac?

The Thermal Imaging Device that Cadillac used won't help you see in the dark. It will help you see obstructions in the road ahead of you.

If you have trouble seeing in the dark then it is probably due to poor vision or interference with other lights out on the road. In these cases better headlights in a luxury car won't fix your problem. That being said yes Cadillacs have excellent nighttime headlamps and viability.

I have it on my Cadillac DeVille and I i really like it! I would have to say that i can see down the road about 2-5 times farther. It would sure give me more time to react to something in the road that i wouldn't normally see.

Driving in the dark can be very dangerous for people who have trouble seeing. The night vision in a Cadillac can help, but, if you are uncomfortable driving in the dark, it isn't advised that you rely on electronic equipment to keep you safe.

Cadillac's night vision isn't a replacement for being able to see to drive after dark. It is only a tool to aid in driving at night. If you are having trouble seeing, please contact an optometrist. If you have average night vision and could be aided by the Cadillac night vision test drive one and see!
