How does the unemployment program work?

If you are fired or you quit, you're no eligible. If you were laid off you are eligible, and will receive a weekly check once you sign up.

The unemployment program is used for people who lose their job without any faults of their own. If you have a job or voluntary quit or get fired for any reason it is very unlikely to receive benefits. Its nerve wrecking when an employer makes it hard for you if the agent ask questions and ur job lie on you.
