How does one have faith in God?

Because it is easier to believe in the supernatural than it is find a rational answer. Life is amazingly complicated and science can be incredibly difficult to master. That is not say that people with faith are stupid, they have just found answer that makes sense to them.

Having faith in god is one's personal view & belief if you have ever asked for something from god & you get it then you would definitely generate a belief in god. But if you never had belief in god & all the time you took things as they come then its difficult for you to develop belief in god.

Faith in God is something that has been drilled into you as a child! Your parents are the base for the faith that you have.

I think all you have to do is believe that there is meaning to our existence. Having faith does not mean you never question, but you still believe in something.
