First off anyone can die. People with MS can die from other complications however death from an MS disease is quite rare. What it does is it affects the mind of the person making them in a sense crazy and delusional. Another thing is the lifespan. It's seven years less then the average normal human life span.

There is no cure and it is not fatal. Many people live with the desease for decades. As the desease progresses, the MS patient's disabilities increase.

Multiple sclerosis,or Ms for short is not an automatic death sentence, but can cause lack of coordination. This disease causes the protective myelin coating of nerves to deteiorate, causing an interference of motor function. Many doctors prescribe marijuana, which has a substance that relieves symptoms, for patients.Montel Williams is well-known for using this remedy.

Relax! Most likely your sister has regular MS. It's not a death sentence at all. In fact, her life expectancy is almost exactly the same as pre-diagnosis.
