The condition GERD(Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease)causes stomach acid to rise up the windpipe and into lungs. Can trigger asthma, brochitis and pneumonia. Breathing symptoms can be coughing, wheezing, cracking sound when breathing in. Can also experience a persistent cough, heaviness in chest, shortness of breath on exertion.

Lung reflux or GERD can have significant effects on your breathing, create chronic infections, and potentially influence even more significant lung issues if the reflux backs up into the lungs. This can cause asthma and even pneumonia, having a very obvious effect on your breathing, even in a sedentary state.

Lung reflux attacks cause you to wheeze. You experience difficulty in breathing (like the feeling of getting choked or strangled). Moreover, if you don't get proper treatment, lung reflux might lead to chronic infections such asthma and pneumonia.
