HPV does not pose a risk to your baby during pregnancy. Pregnancy hormones can occasionally cause the HPV virus or warts to grow more quickly in the mother, so your doctor may want to monitor your cervical tissue or existing warts.

HPV is very serious during pregnancy. It can lead to several serious problems, the worst being cervical cancer. HPV is more common than most people think. The baby should be safe though.
