To back up your registry click on the Start button, then Run. Type in 'regedit' without the ' and it will openthe Registry Editor. Click File then Export. Give it a name and ensure that Export Range "All" is selected and click Save. Double click the file to restore it.

First u have to run help and support from windows or OS then select your problem category. Then read the instructions very carefully and follow the instruction. I think it will solve your problems with registry.

You can backup your registry with the System Restore tool. Click Start > Run and execute %SystemRoot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe. This will start the System Restore tool, with which you can backup and restore the system registry. You can also look on and search for explanation document Q322756, which contains more instructions.

I'm not sure if they include that in "Help and Support"... but anyways, click Start>Run> "regedit. exe". In the program, select File>Export. Then select "All" at the very bottom. Give your registry backup a filename and save. To import a previously saved registry, in regedit, File>Import and select the exported registry file. Be VERY CAREFUL when you do this.

To backup and restore items to your registry, simply click on start, then run, in the box type regedit. In the registry editor select file then export, name your file and save it where you like. To import click on file then import and select the file that you would like to import.
