How do you write a happy birthday love letter?

I am not very good at expressing myself.

You write it exactly like your question. I would start by wishing the person an awesome happy birthday, then i would lead in to my feelings for them. The best way to express yourself is to be completely honest and let the chips fall where they may. Good luck!

First, tell them happy birthday, and then tell them exactly what comes to mind when you think about them and see them and how they make you feel.

Consider a short romantic poem. It does not have to rhyme. Many verse forms, such as the sonnet, are well-suited to sentiments of love. Write about a happy memory you have shared with the recipient. Make sure you include details so they can imagine the memory as the read the letter.

The letter would express appreciation for the person's birthday since on that very day was the day the loved one was born. It is also important to point out what a difference the person has made since birth. Kind of like the movie, "It's A Wonderful Life" with personal facts.

Prepare yourself for use of expressive language by reading some poetry beforehand. I suggest Pablo Neruda. Then, make a list of what you like about the person you love. Let them know these things. Don't try to sound like anyone other than yourself.
