How do you work with octagonal tiles?

Just start from the center of your floor and work outward that way when you come to the wall, you can cut the tiles to stop at the edge.

Just like any other geometrical shape, you'll have no problem working with octagonal tiles. As long as the individual tiles don't have any special patternation on them, just lay them like you would with a square tile. Figure out at what angle you want them in the room, and just do the job!
