First you have to identify the hot wire connection location. This is typically a brass screw. At this point you connect the black or red wire to the brass screw. The white wire connects to the silver screw. The ground wire which will have green insulation or be a bare wire will connect to the green screw.

Wiring a plug with three wires is simple. Attach the brown wire to the terminal market L for live, the blue to the one marked N for neutral and the green and yellow wire to the one marked E for earth. Ensure the plug has the correct fuse inserted, then screw the two halves of the plug securely together.
