How do you wire a 200-amp breaker?

Answer by  LeheckaG (1826)

Refer to the latest edition of the (NEC) National Electrical Code for proper wire (insulation) types & maximum % conduit or duct utilization; for 200-Amp service - Use AT LEAST #2/0 gauge Copper wire for each hot leg or phase, and for your neutral. Also wire for an equipment ground; and check with your local building department codes or regulations.
