How do you vote independent, I have no desire to be registered as republican or democrate?

I do not want a party affliction.

You can vote for whomever you want on the ballot, regardless of party registration. The only limit will be on the inability to vote in party primaries.

Since there isn't exactly a "third party" party, just don't vote for either republican or democrat and find one of the many independent parties to choose from and vote for their sponsored candidates.
