Hair putty is actually a pretty simple hair product to use for those with short hair. The most important thing to remember when using a hair putty type product is to use the right amount. Do not overdo it.

Take a dime sized amount of the putty and rub between your thumb and pointer finger, then section off pieces of your hair and run the putty lightly over section.

If I suppose thatI'm a girl with short hair and I have to use hair putty, then surely first thing which comes to my mind is a kind of a wet look, e.g; I'll take some hair putty and apply it on all hairs and comb all the hairs in backward direction and could add a flick to it.

You can use hair putty the same as you would if you had long hair. You will need less putty if you have short hair. Here's how you remember: The less hair you have, the less putty required. But I don't advise putty at all, it ruins any type of hair.
