Use a shoe shine brush or a soft cloth to apply a thin even layer to your clean shoes. Wait 15 minutes. Wipe off with a clean soft cloth.

Put the solid waxey polish on the clean shoes thenbuff or rub with a clean cloth, this will give a long lasting shine and make it waterproof also. Another method is spit shine, you put a drop of water on wax after it has been rub down then rub vigorously and the shoes will be excessively shiny.

Take a brush.Apply black shoe polish on the brush. Rub the brush on your shoes forming a layer of polish on the shoe. Shine the shoe with help of a waste cloth.
