How do you use a glue gun in reupholstery?

Glue guns are used to hold fabric and wood in place, most often as a temporary 'pin in place' before a more permanent physical staple, nail, or screw is used. Glue guns can also be used to 'worm' to create molding effects when missing -- shape the hot glue in the correct shape and paint to match.

Use a glue gun to attached the new upholstery to the base of the furniture. Try to get a large glue gun and extension cords. Be careful!

I wouldn't use a glue gun on parts that would get alot of tension, like a seat. This should only be used on the skirt or piping.
