You mean like K = P% of N? Divide the value "K" (let's say, 12) by the value "N" (let's say, 25) and multiply the result (12/25=0.48) by 100 and that's your percent. Basically, K divided by N = P% divided by 100. If you have K and N, you can't miss

Let's suppose we want to find the 20% of 150 dollars. 20% means you have to take your total, multiply it by 20 and divide it by 100 (percent = per hundred). You do: 150 x 20 = 3000. The result then gets divided by 100: 3000 / 100 = 30. The 20% of 150 dollars is then 30.
