How do you unlock a Sony phone?

If your phone is locked you either need to hit the unlock button or enter a password. If it is locked by the phone company or provider you must purchase and enter into a contract to unlock the phone to use its features. Sometimes depending on the phone itself you can actually purchase already unlocked phones.

Other than buying an expensive cable and software and doing it yourself, your best bet is to take it to a specialist. There's no way to remotely unlock it.
