How do you unlock a door with a broken deadbolt?

This depends on how the deadbolt is broken. It is possible that a good locksmith could open your door without damaging it. but you may have to drill the lock or remove the door.

Without breaking it down, i suppose. On some doors, it's possible to stick something (like a screwdriver or knife) between the door and the frame, at the level the bolt should be, and push it back. If you can't do that, you could try unscrewing the lock covers and see what you can do from there.

this is how you can unlock a door take two paper clips and put them in the key hole and push up on the pins that keep the door locked
