You should make sure the pump is engaging. If the pump does not engage than you should check the connections and the circuit breakers to make sure that has the proper power.
There three main components to check. The motor,Impeller, and Float Switch. Start by checking the float switch and see if this engages the motor. If so then check the impeller.
