Thrush in infants is treated with oral anti-fungal medications, which you need to encourage the baby to hold in the mouth for a bit. If the child is breastfed, the mother also needs treatment, normally a topical lotion/cream. You should sterilize anything that the child puts into their mouth frequently so as not to risk reintroducing the fungus after treatment.

Thrush is a yeast infection that can coat the tongue, inside of cheeks and lips with milky white patches. Thrush is treated with an antifungal medication.

Your pediatrician is the best person to answer this. Ours prescribed nystatin suspension, which is an anti-fungal medication. One applies it several times a day to the infected area with a syringe or cotton swab. It takes a while for the thrush to clear up, but this will treat it.

Thrush can be treated with antifungal medications. You might have to obtain the medication from a doctor. Some of the medications are called: Diflucan, Mycostatin, Nizoral, Fungizone. It most likely would be best to consult with a doctor first to make sure it really is thrush that you are dealing with.

You would treat thrush the same as you would if it were anywhere. The best way to get rid of thrush is by coating the babies mouth with medicine such as nystatin suspension three to four times a day for five to seven days. once a baby gets thrush they can no longer get it again.

Our doctor prescibed a liquid to rub on the spots of thrush in his mouth to clear it up. It worked quickly. Call your doctor to get some medicine.

Well basically just stick to drinking water and maybe have the infant feed on some apple juice. But thrust on a tongue might even need some medicine. Go get it checked by a doctor.

If your baby gets thrush on his or her tongue, you can treat it with pro biotics. They sell childrens pro biotics. You can put it right in the babys bottle. You can also dip the babys pacifier in yogurt, i did this and it healed the thrush in two days.
