The moment you see fish trying to rub each other you can be sure of anchor sorm infection. Treat it by adding 2 mg potassium permanganate per litre of water.
Add 2 mg. of potassium permanganate for every liter(1 liter equals about 1/4 gal. )of water in aquarium. This is available at pet stores. Goldfish get anchor worm from live food.
Add 2mg of potassium permanganate per liter of water to treat the whole aquarium. Treating the whole aquarium and the sick fish will prevent anchor worm from returning.
