How do you treat a pulled muscle?

I have pulled a muscle in my arm and need to know to treat it.

Pulled muscles should be immobilized in extreme cases and injuries, however, keeping the muscle movement to a minimum is usually enough. Ibuprofin based drugs will help with the pain and heat will help with the healing process.

An ice pack should be kept on the sore muscle for a period of fifteen minutes. This will numb the pain and relax the muscle itself by increasing blow flow. It is recommended that any intensive physical activity be minimized for a period of seven days, while on occasion massaging the affected area with ICY Hot sore muscle cream.

the best way is to rest your arm and dont do any exercise's that hurt or strain your arm. While you are resting try to ice your arm, 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off and keep reapting.
