I believe that you would have to do many tests, like If that person can read your mind. By this, I mean, you think of something very distinct and random, something the claimed psychic wouldn't know your thinking.
It's very hard to do this and get a definate answer. You could ask them to try several psychic activities. Have them read tarrot cards, see if they understand meanings.
