I wash and dry my mint and then strip it from the plant. I store in crisper when dry in paper towels.

Mint should be picked fresh and cut with about a 2-3 inch stem. Place a rubber band around a bunch of the stems and hang the bunch upside down in a dry cool area, away from any moisture. Once completely dry, you can flake off the dried leaves and store them in an airtight container.

Wash the herbs in cold running water, with the Stems on. Drain and pat dry. Then hang the mint upside down or place in the sun. In a couple of days the mint should be dry and ready for storage. Place in a sealed container and store in your pantry.
