You can try and apply some ices or ice packs which will help to reduce the inflammation and minimise the pain.

To erase the stinging discomfort, make a paste of 1/4 tablespoon meat tenderizer and 1 to 2 teaspoons water. Rub the paste into the stung area as soon as possible after the sting. Repeat in an hour it it still stings. The tenderizer contains papain that breaks down insect venom.

To stop the burning sensation of a sting you can use a cool compress on the area, and take an oral antihistamine.

This will usually stop stinging without any treatment. If not, run the affected part under cold water or apply anti-histamine cream. If you have a temperature or feel faint, or any unusual symptoms see a doctor.
