How do you stop a male cat from spraying and marking territory?

Neutering you male cat between 4 - 12 months (6 being ideal) will often solve this problem, if not there a few other ways like spraying vinegar on all the surfaces that you do not want your cat spraying on, or it could be that your cat doesn't like the brand of litter if you have recently changed brands.

Male cats will start to spray at age 6 months. To Stop a male cat from marking, take him to the vet to have him nuetred. If he can go outside, all the better, he can mark his territory in the yard. To clear up the smell, go to any pet store and purchase a Feline odor remover spray bottle.

Neuter. The pee won't smell that badly. Also, you should check if he's nervous, usually cats mark their territory pissing if they feel threatened by other cats.

Have him neutered; it is the first stop made with any cat with this problem. It is territorial behavior and as such tends to go away with the sex drive. Use proper pet-cleaners for urine (or he will try to cover the cleaner smell), and give 'Feliway' a try.

I have 3 Outside cats 2 females and 1 male. And a Stray Started spraying :( Thanks "unseen" I think Vinegar will work! Thanks For all yalls help!
