How do you size infant life jackets?

I don't want to have to make my baby try on dozens of them.

Take a measurement around your baby's chest and tummy (around the belly button). Then, you will want to measure the lenght of your baby's torso. You can use these measurements to order online or in a store.

The sizes usually correspond to the weight of your baby. Take his weight before you leave the house to buy the life jacket. Then try the one that is for his size range first.

Infant life jackets are sized by weight and generally are overwhelming in fit, due to the size needed to float and the small size of the child.

Whatever size your baby wears in jackets for the winter is probably the same size life jacket. If your infant is a size small in shirts you probably need a size small life jacket. If your baby wears a large then look for a large life jacket etc,im sure you get the point.
