Pass your fishing line through tip of the rod all the way down to the reel. next open the bail and tie off the line to the reel. Spool line.

You have to put the line on the spool. Open the bale and string the rod lines as well. It is actually very easy to do but once you master it only. So therefore, just keep practicing it and you will become really good at it. I am speaking based on personal experience.

First you need a flat surface to set the spinning reel one. After that, you can place it on the ground and you are ready to spin.

Differences exist for "open faced" and "closed face" versions. However, the most important point is to load the reel with the proper line weight and length of line.
