How do you set up a home recording studio?

You set it up by first buying all the equipment and then organizing it in a room and hooking it all up. You may need to sound proof the room if you don't outside noises.

Most recording is done with computers these days. You will want to get a good quality USB interface for your PC such as an M-Audio to connect your microphones, etc. Pro Tools is the most popular recording software program but there are other free programs like Audacity that might work.
