Since he is the one that hurt the marriage, as long as he wants to save it as well I would suggest the both of you going to some type of marriage counselor. That will help you build back the trust and openness that is little or no longer at this point.

Keep in mind it's possible he may do it again. You can sit down and talk with a Marriage Therapist and talk about your problems and look for solutions.

Before deciding whether to take a chance to save the marriage, consider how the "cheating" was exposed, did you discover it or did he tell you about it or did a third party let you know? This isn't simply to judge your mate, but would be relevant to finding out his intentions.
