How do you replace window regulator on a Jetta?

My window regulator has gone bad and needs replaced.

Since every make and model of car is different I would advise that you purchase a book on your particular Jetta. The book should be about $20 and will give you instructions along with troubleshooting tips. You will also have some images that will help you identify different parts.

lol okie dokie. I'll try since you got the supply list. remove wiring for lower lamp and window and lock switches, pop the click that is attached to the pull wire, remove inner door panel, prop window with stick, move window sliders to center, use vice grips to hold in.

I won't be able to answer in 50 words so hopefully someone else will help. You need the following supplies: phillips screwdriver, flat blade screwdriver, torx bit set, pick set, vice grips, 10mm deep socket, panel fork and 1/2 and 1/4 drive ratchets and extensions. Pop off outer door panel.
