How do you replace the rack and pinion lines on a Voyager?

Some tact and delicacy is required here. The new lines should be from a reputable designer label that is well recognized in the industry. The fact that it's a Voyager should not influence these very important decisions. The Voyagers pride and self confidence must not be compromised or performance will suffer.

Remove the lower control arm bushing bolts. Remove the gear assembly. Make replace of rack and pinion lines Fasten the power steering cooling hose with clamp. Finally check for leakage.

i don't think it will be very hard to replace it , but isn't very easy , so you just remove it and put another

remove wheels remove uppper and lower ball joints remove large c/v joints next remove power steering hoses Try to use a hose wench on the lines so you don't stripe them, there are two large bolt bolt remove them and it will come down,just reverse the order and make sure power steer is full some of the fluid is lost

It is difficult to replace a pinion line rack. My suggestion is to let a professional handle the replacement. If a professional does the replacement you know it will be done right, you also can get a warranty. Once you have contacted the auto repair shop the mechanic can also quote you a price for the repair.

You will have to take it in to have it checked. A professional would be able to fix it for you. Or go get a manual for it.
