Depending on the year of your vehicle, older models may require that you remove the steering column.But for newer models since for security purpose you may not be able to replace it yourself due to the fact that people will steel cars then replace the key. But you probably best shot with going to the dealership.

Remove the navigator ignition coil cover. Then remove the electrical connector. To loosen the seal twist the ignition coil. Now install the new ignition key lock.

Turn key to on position. Insert small flatblade screwdriver into hole in bottom of column and press small button. Holding the button, pull the ignition switch out of the cylinder.

you have to do as little bit of a locksmiths job you have to lay with the key centering and find a way to make it fit into the new key

You will have to remove the whole casing of the steering column. Then the keylock just unscrews easily and you screw the new one in.

You first need to take the steering wheel undercover off in order to see and remove the ignition keylock. You then need to unscrew the bolts for the keylock and unplug the wiring harness. Then plug in the new one from there.

It depends on what year it is. If it a newer model it is a very hard process where reprogramming with a computer is involved.

The steering wheel will have to be taken off and then take old ignition off. Electrical connectors will have to be disconnected. Twist ignition coil so that you can have looseness in the seal. then put new ignition key lock in.
