Start by soaking the bolts in a penetrating lubricant. Next disconnect any electrical connectors. The remove bolts securing valve to manifold. You may also have to remove and egr tube. Then reverse procedure to replace.
It depends on the model and year but, the universal replacement goes like this: Remove the vacuum line/electrical connector. Remove the two nuts holding the EGR valve down. Clean the contact surface and reinstall.
