There are two types of bearings, loose and cartridge. If your bearings are cartridge, you can simply take out the axel, pop out the cartidges, and replace them with same sized new cartridges. If the bearings are loose, you are looking at a process that is involved and somewhat difficult to get right. I'd advise going to a shop.
