How do you clear the codes on a Chevy venture?

You need a code reader or a OBD II scanner to remove the codes. You can go to part stores and they can read the codes in the car and remove them also. You will want to fix the base problem of the engine light because they will turn back on.

You can purchase a scanner or take it to an auto parts store to have it scanned to find out what is causing the light. After it is fixed, disconnect the negative battery cable for 5 minutes and then reconnect it. This should clear the code.

Well the best way is to use a code reader that can do it. Otherwise you can usually disconnect the battery for a few seconds and it will reset it.

If you are wanting to clear these types of codes then you will need to get a brand new computer.
